‘Walker,’ star of Heart of a Lion, invades The Big Apple!
‘Walker,’ star of Heart of a Lion, was spotted crossing the Brooklyn Bridge yesterday, destination unknown. There are rumors, however, that he will be making a few more appearances down the road in Connecticut over the next couple days.
Mr. Stolzenberg (William),
I’m a Cougar Fund supporter and nature photographer living in Fairfax, Virginia. I recently ordered your book, “Heart of a Lion”, and mentioned this to Ms. Penny Maldonado, Executive Director, The Cougar Fund, in a telecom Sunday. She read your book and suggested I may have the opportunity to attend one of your presentations. Do you plan any speaking events in Washington, DC in 2016? Thank you. And thank you for authoring this great book!
Dear Mr. Cake,
Great to hear from you. I hope you like Heart of a Lion. (If you do, please feel free to review on Amazon or Goodreads or wherever seems suitable–it helps to get the word out.) Would love to come speak in my old stomping grounds (resident until recently of Fairfax, Reston, and Shepherdstown, WV). Best way to make that happen might be to drop a hint to one of your favorite colleges or conservation orgs that you and your colleagues would love to see a presentation on this lion’s story. For example, I’ve spoken on my previous books at such places as the National Zoo, Audubon Naturalist Society (Chevy Chase), National Training and Conservation Center (Shepherdstown), and Green Spring Gardens (Annandale). Otherwise, if you happen to be in the area, I have some dates coming up in Sacramento, and South Florida, which I’ll be posting once the details are confirmed, on my events page Hope to see you sometime.
